Jack served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1942-1946. After leaving the Coast Guard he worked for many years as a carpenter. He was member of the Ocean Park Eagles and Carpenters Union No. 971 Reno, NV. He volunteered as an Ilwaco Sports Boosters and a driver for P.A.C. Nutrition.
Jack enjoyed his family and was most appreciative of the love and care he received from Jody and Michael when they moved him and Angie to Toledo, WA in August of 2019 when more help was needed. Jack loved reading, golf and tending to his beautiful yard. He also enjoyed their cat Max. One of his favorite stories was when he played golf with Michael and Dale and how they accidently spun the golf cart. They all came back with the biggest smiles. Jack was a great joy to us and has left us with so many wonderful memories.
