Marilyn Lynn Kent

Marilyn Lynn (Evenson) Kent of Longview, Wash. passed away May 21, 2022.

Marilyn was born April 21,1970, to Willard and Helen (Johnson) Evenson in Longview. She was raised in Clatskanie, Ore., and received her GED from Clatskanie High School in 1988. Marilyn worked at Bundy’s Drive-In for 17 years and at Dollar General for five years.

She is survived by three siblings, Pamela Alwine, Rebecca Evenson and Steven Evenson, all of Longview; three children, Jacob Kent of Fort Leonard Wood MO, Angelica Gamble of Vancouver, Wash., and Miranda Kent of Ridgefield, Wash.; numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and several close friends.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents Willard (2020) and Helen (2011).

A service is planned for 1 p.m. June 10 at Alston Corner Assembly of God Church, 25272 Alston Road, Rainier, OR 97048, followed by a graveside service at Murray Hill Cemetery, 90 Hall Road, Clatskanie, OR 97016.
